GUITAR MAN / HI HEELED SNEAKERS. Most Elvis collectors are well aware of how rare and collectable the very early light green label demos from the 1950s early 1960s are - which is reflected in their resale value.Although no one knows for sure how many copies were made it is safe to say very few; and, at the time of their manufacture, the general public had no knowledge of their existence - which makes them genuinely rare. This double-sided, push out centred demo, a great coupling of Jerry Reed's'Guitar Man' with the classic'Hi Heeled Sneakers', manufactured by Decca Record Company on behalf of RCA in the UK in 1968, was one of the last of the 1960s' green labelled demos. By this time the label format was almost identical to the standard releases with the exception of their colour (dark green), the big A on the'A' side, and the legend'Demonstration sample Not For Sale'.
However, they are still eminently collectable. This particular copy is in excellent condition overall. Once again, the starting price for this tasty piece of Elvis history is. Please check my other items as I have a few similar things to sell.
